Erin Arant, OTR/L

In January of 2011, Erin was exposed to the realities of life for people that had been placed in Ukrainian institutions. Having a strong passion for the value of individuals and quality of life, she couldn't make sense of the situation for people with disabilities in Ukraine.  As she processed what she had seen, she knew that this was a cause worth fighting for. She began with an education and went to school for occupational therapy as well as attended training to become a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner. She sought to learn how to best improve the quality of life for the people who had no access to therapeutic services and were living their lives in the shadows.

Erin spent 4 years living full time in Kyiv, Ukraine and helped to pioneer the profession of Occupational Therapy. She also ran a small practice with which she worked in the villages of the Kyiv region to help support and strengthen families. She now lives in Central Oregon with her husband and 3 daughters and is passionate about family strengthening and preservation.

Sprout Therapeutic Interventions is a product of her calling, visions, and passions and is a part of the initiative to build capacity and restore hope by empowering and equipping her community.
